At the very beginning, Airwheel e-bikes design team has chosen the PC materials. Of course, it is not an ordinary PC materials but special ones. And the first two series X-series and Q-series adopt a kind of special PC materials in the beginning. Not only sturdy but also stylish, the special PC offers a better finish than the ordinary one.

The products released on the second new products release conference in 2015 F3 orbit electric unicycle and M3 wireless remote control skateboard have made a great improvement in the material adoption. The annular body is covered a transparent shell which is made of PC+ABS composite materials with such features as heat resistance, cold endurance, flame resistance and impact resistance. Hence, it can not only protect the body, but also make F3 annular electric unicycle more beautiful and different.

Airwheel M3 motorized skateboard adopts the TPU (Thermoplastic Urethane) material. Thermoplastic Urethane is far more sturdy and elastic than previous PC material. In the second new product release conference this year, Airwheel got its first try-out in its newly released model the M3. The application of TPU to M3 enhances the ability to stand up to impact and heat.
